I am writing this down as to remember it in later years.
I got a call from a "football recruiter" this morning. He wanted to let me know he's had his 'eye on Spencer all season' and that "you and your husband have a real athlete on your hands there.'
This man was a coach of another little league football team that Spencer's team played against. He wanted us to know he'd like Spencer to come and play for him next year with the Sooners.
REALLY? Recruiting at age barely 9. I must say though... I was proud.
