Maggie the Graduate

Maggie has officially completed Kindergarten. This afternoon, she graduated. What an exciting time for us all. She walked into the school cafeteria with the other kids, head held high. She immediately started scanning the room for us. Once she spotted her entourage a huge smile crossed her face. She marched with her class up to the stage and had a seat. One by one the kids' names were called. Since she went to all-day Kindergarten and her last name begins with one of the last letters in the alphabet... she was the final student called.

This year she has really blossomed. She has learned to read, she knows her math facts - addition and subtraction, she is a wonderful artist and she's a good friend to others too. We have been so blessed with an amazing teacher. It's so hard to let one of your babies go to "real school." I remember the first day of this year crying like a baby. I was sad that my little girl was growing up, off to school and an unlimited future. We could not have asked for a more perfect Kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Wilson is truly one of a kind. Her love for the kids is obvious and her ability to teach them, all 20 of them... all day long, is incredible. God bless her!

Maggie - we are so proud of you and can't wait to see what your future holds. Keep learning and the world will be yours. Here are a few snap shots of your Kindergarten graduation. I love you sweetie pie. - Mommy

The principal asked the kids what they would miss the most about Kindergarten. Maggie raised her hand and said, "Our school."

Wish big brother wasn't giving little sis rabbit ears.

The graduate loves her Aunt Kimmy.

Trying to give out kisses. He didn't want them.

Most awesome Kindergarten teacher ever.

A new buddy from school.
