This weekend we were invited to go out on Lake Thunderbird with Kim and John. They have a new boat so we were pumped to hop aboard for an afternoon full of fun! The kids were excited. The parents were too. Here are a few pictures from our day.
Cool guy with his shades and backwards cap.
It was an overcast afternoon. Perfect with the kids... not too hot. The water is warming up too.
It's almost summer time!
Snacks - goldfish and capri suns.
Aunt Kimmy got a new pair of skies and popped right up... first time of the season. The kids thought that was pretty cool.
John let Evan drive. Can you tell he loved it?
Spencer and Jack got to ride the new tube.
My favorite 2-year-old!
Then all the kids loaded up... for a SLOW ride!
Kim and I were really surprised how good Maggie and Jack did. They had a blast... wanted to ride over and over again.
Daddy got back from Dallas and joined us for the second half of the day. We were all happy to see him. He also got up on some skies... I think he's still sore!
John pulled Kim and I in the tube before we went in for the day. I swear he was trying to kill us. Kim kept saying things like, "This is how people get hurt" and "Don't let go because if we crash, we die." That was real comforting. We giggled and bounced around and hung on tight. It was super fun, can't wait to get back out there again!
Jack and Maggie resting on the ride back to the boat dock.
What a fun day!
Thanks to Kim and John and Jack for having us out on the boat.
Yes sir, it's going to be a fun summer.
