Mom has a talent I wish so much I possessed... sewing.
So when I opened her Christmas present to me and saw a sewing machine, I was happy times two!
She also got Kim a machine and has promised monthly lessons and assignments.
A few weeks ago we started. Our assignment was a table runner.
Anyone who knows Kim knows how OCD she is. So by golly, every line was straight as an arrow, every stitch perfect as a picture.
Our runners turned out pretty good, for beginners. Our homework was to follow a basic pattern to make matching napkins. I need to get on that.
