In November Spencer was selected as the 4th grade student of the month. Students were selected in November for the virtue of perseverance. After a rough start to 4th grade, this of course made Matthew and I beyond proud. Our boy is a smart kid and he doesn't give up even when his levels of frustration bring him to tears. He has to work at it... but is succeeding! We were there when the surprise announcement was made... we had a heads up it was coming! :-)

He was proud of himself too!
The same week Miss Priss was named Student of the Month for her class. We were equally proud of her as well!
