A Day in December

There were many busy days in December for us this year. Perhaps my favorite was the Saturday that we began early at Evan's preschool Christmas program. This year he was a Shepperd and sang the First Noel, a Spanish Christmas carol and then a few others for the finale.

His version of The First Noel went like this:
"the first Snow-ell..."
"Snow-elll, snow-elll, the angel did say..."

In keeping with his tradition during Christmas programs, here he is with both fingers up his nose while walking on stage for the finale. Lovely.

After cookies and cocoa with Santa at the school, we headed to the Norman Christmas parade. It was super duper cold, but the kids were champs. 

We were lucky enough to spend some time with the Talley's watching the parade, drinking cider and hot cocoa and visiting while the kids enjoyed the parade and one another.

After the parade, we headed up to the Community Center to watch Spencer play some basketball. Working the tongue...
