Boys, leaves and a beautiful Fall evening equal one thing for Spencer and his buddy Aiden... work. Aiden's Dad put the boys to work after school today raking leaves in their front yard.
It was adorable, so I grabbed my camera.
Not a huge pile, but the work kept them busy for a while.
Maybe because they would rake and then they would play.
After all, what fun is raking leaves if you can't jump in them?
Posing for Mom takes a little time too.
Ok, back to business.
Of course little sis needs to check things out and bring a little silliness with her....
...and a cheer leading pose or two as well.
After they raked, the realized they couldn't just leave the pile in the front yard... they needed bags.
And gloves.
Suit up, Men.
Team work.
After their hard work, Aiden's Dad paid the boys $2 each. I bet it's the best $4 he's spent in a while.
We are so blessed to have nice neighbors, a beautiful Oklahoma Fall and kids who are learning the value of hard work.
